What is a Connected Challenge?
HOW DOES IT WORK?
OuiLive is a mobile application of connected Challenges with positive impact, to be carried out in groups. A challenge is a digital event of limited duration: one week, one month, one quarter… Achieve together the objectives set before the end of the allotted time!
A challenge is divided into themed stages. Each stage has a duration and includes its challenges that you will have to complete before the end of it: physical activity, quiz, photos, videos… Each challenge earns points: the more you complete them, the more you improve your score and that of the challenge!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN A CHALLENGE?
The Challenges take place on our OuiLive mobile application, available on iOS and Android. Each organization has its own space on the application: to join it, you just need to register with the unique code of your Challenge.
Your organization has not provided you with your Challenge code? Send an email to email@example.com indicating the name of your organization so that we can help you join your challenge.

HOW TO EARN POINTS ?
The more challenges you complete, the more points you collect!
4 different types of challenges exist for each Challenge:
– Sporting challenges: physical activities, walking, shopping…
– Creative challenges: selfies, short videos, drawings…
– Interactive quizzes: answers to pre-selected questions
– Participatory surveys: answers to open or closed questions
Each action generates a number of points. You can view the number of points earned by each participant in the “Ranking” tab.
WHAT DO THE PARTICIPANTS WIN AT THE END OF THE CHALLENGE?
Each Challenge allows participants to change their lifestyle, celebrate their accomplishments and those of the community, and learn about the theme of the Challenge. The first victory is emotional, because carrying out the OuiLive Challenges helps promote well-being on a daily basis.
A OuiLive Challenge also allows you to give meaning to your activity. We suggest that you associate each Challenge with a concrete and positive action via the financing of a project: fight against deforestation, support for research, installation of hives, restoration of corals… Depending on the envelope allocated by the organizer of the Challenge, your actions in the application will make these projects a reality!
Finally, there are also individual rewards that can also be distributed for certain participants or teams.

WHO CAN ORGANIZE A CHALLENGE?
OuiLive allows all types of actors to organize a Challenge: companies, universities, clubs and federations, public authorities… Whether you are 10, 100, 1000 or 100,000 people, OuiLive adapts to your community and your audience.
HOW TO ORGANIZE MY CONNECTED CHALLENGE?
Together we will identify your needs and offer you the solution that best suits you between our LIVE or PLAY offers to allow you to maximize your impact. Our Challenges can all be deployed in less than 3 days.
HOW CAN I COMMUNICATE ABOUT THIS EVENT?
No worries ! We help you make this event a real success by preparing the launch upstream with you. We are creating a dedicated communication kit to distribute to invite participants to register.
In addition, at the end of your experience, we can provide you with a photo model as well as an after-movie so that all the participants keep a memory of it and that you can share your experience on your social networks!
WHAT ARE THE CUSTOMIZATION POSSIBILITIES?
CAN THE CHALLENGES TAKE PLACE AS A TEAM?
Of course, you can organize a Team Challenge. The teams are then formed upstream by the organizer or the participants, or when each person registers.
Our recommendation: favor a random distribution to encourage meetings and exchanges between participants!
Technical questions and data
WHAT TYPES OF ACTIVITIES DOES THE APPLICATION TAKE INTO ACCOUNT WHEN INSTALLED ON MY PHONE?
OuiLive’s technology collects all the steps you take when you have your smartphone with you. Because this technology is motion-based, steps are taken into account as you walk and run. Since the data is collected based on your movements, your activity can also be tracked in other physical activity circumstances (bicycle, elliptical…).
In addition, the OuiLive solution makes it possible to capture and store photo / video content to participate in creative challenges or store answers to questions. All of this content and data are deleted at the end of the Challenge.
HOW DOES THE OUILIVE APP COLLECT MY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DATA?
iOS => The OuiLive application requests permission to connect to your “Health” application present by default on your phone. Once the permissions have been granted, OuiLive retrieves your total steps and/or distance traveled directly from ‘Health’
ANDROID => You have several options for collecting your physical activity data. • OuiLive pedometer: The pedometer specific to the OuiLive application is directly linked to the sensors present in your phone. Using these sensors, our pedometer is able to calculate the number of steps you take each day.
• Fit: You can connect your OuiLive user account to the Google Fit application. You need to set up the Fit app with your Google account. Once Fit is initialized, choose the same Google account in OuiLive. From then on, OuiLive will have access to the number of steps and distances collected by the GoogleFit application.
UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES WILL MY ACTIVITY NOT BE RECORDED?
If your smartphone is turned off, OuiLive will not be able to count your activity. On the other hand, we strongly recommend that you always keep the application open in the background on your smartphone. This will allow OuiLive to upload your data smoothly and to be as close as possible to your real activity. However, if you ever quit the application completely, it is important to relaunch it quickly afterwards.
CAN MY ACTIVITY BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT EVEN IF MY MOBILE HAS NO NETWORK?
Monitoring of your physical activity by OuiLive is based on an electronic component of your phone and not on geolocation. The app is therefore able to take your activity into account even if you are in an area without a telephone network or your smartphone is in airplane mode. However, your data will only be updated when you have a 3G/4G/wifi connection again. You will then need to open the application to take your activity into account.
Confidentiality of your information
WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED BY THE APPLICATION AS PART OF MY CHALLENGE?
OuiLive collects data relating to your profile: email address, first name, last name, gender, profile photo if you choose one. The application also accesses data relating to your physical activity (number of steps, distance covered), as well as content related to the completion of stage challenges (quiz, photos, videos, etc.). Finally, we collect data relating to your telephone and your use of the application: number of connections, date of last connection, model of telephone used, version of the application system, etc.
WHO HAS ACCESS TO MY PERSONAL DATA RECORDED ON THE APPLICATION?
Personal data relating to your Ouilive user profile is collected and stored on our secure database. With the exception of the Ouilive technical team, no one has access to your personal data. In accordance with the GDPR regulations, the personal data of Ouilive users is strictly confidential and can in no way be considered as commercial data or processed for commercial purposes. Other users participating in the same challenge as you will be able to view your first name, last name, profile photo and the number of steps you have taken during each stage of the challenge. Photos and videos related to stage challenges can only be viewed on the News Feed if you choose to publish them.
HOW LONG IS MY DATA STORED IN THE OUILIVE DATABASE?
At the end of the Challenge, all of your data will be deleted within a maximum of 3 weeks.
During the Challenge, your user data is stored in the OuiLive database from the creation of your user profile until the end of your Challenge. You can delete your OuiLive account at any time and erase the personal data attached to it.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?
In accordance with the GDPR regulations, the application gives you the possibility to delete your account directly. All your data will then be permanently deleted from the OuiLive database. However, when you delete your account, be aware that any points you have collected will then be lost. This will therefore impact the progress of the challenge as a whole and your employees will then have to redouble their efforts to compensate for this loss!
